Insta-Life: Of Things to Come

Happy Monday guys!

Today we have another tantalizing edition of Insta-life. Some cray cray stuff has gone down this week so take a little looksie. 

Okay, it's not that crazy.

Madison's hair is finally long enough to milkmaid braid. All is right in the world again.

Would you guys judge us if we told you the name of this juice makes us giggle like little 13-year-old boys?

If it seems like we're obsessed with babies, we can assure you we're totally not. #yesweare

Thank goodness for Utah holidays that give us another reason to set stuff on fire.

We make sushi now because we're cultured. And it isn't just because Lauren is Asian.

You guys. We saw Band of Horses this week. SO GOOD. Did anyone else go?

Anyways, we were perusing the sale racks at Urban Outfitters yesterday (which just so happened to be an extra 30% off. get on that) and we found these cute little peter pan collar blouses. 

We were on the fence about them because we used to be pretty anti-studs. 

But then we realized how edgy they made us feel. 

We look so bad-@$$.

Happy Pioneer Day everybody!

For those who don't know, today is the day Utah-ites commemorate the day Pioneers came to the Salt Lake Valley in 1847.

(maybe we had to look up some of those facts on the wiki...)

Anyways, we thought we would celebrate by wearing our bonnets or petticoats, but we couldn't find them anywhere!

So we settled on floral crowns and lacey dresses. 

Naturally.

Insta-Life: Let the Good Times Roll

We hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! 

Sorry we took a little blog vacation for a couple of days.

We had a wonderful  time catching up with old friends, eating too much, and karaoking.

 Madison here! Today, would like to share with you all a little secret... I’m blind. 

Okay, not really. But I might as well be.

People ask me, “Are you farsighted or nearsighted?” and I reply “Both.” Friends try on my glasses and are left cross-eyed. Needless to say, prescription glasses are a must for me. Especially for those mornings when I wake up 15 minutes before class starts. A cute pair of eyeglasses always hide my terrifyingly bloodshot and tired eyes that I have at 8 am. 

We’ve all been there, right?

Sometimes finding specs can be tough, because I have a ginormous head and thick eyebrows. Luckily, I had the opportunity to find a pair of glasses at GlassesUSA.com. And I found the perfect pair!

This was handy, because I was able to see which frames would dominate my face or look like tiny baby glasses on my large noggin. BUT we would like to give her props on her style lately.

She's branching out from her tulle and sparkly skirts to a little more sophisticated attire.

Luckily, someone made an interesting montage of him on pinterest.

We are so pumped for The Dark Knight! 

And Christian Bale is just one of those guys that gets better with Age. 

Though he wasn't too bad as a Newsie, either.

What?

 It's a great tree. 

Really though, we're realizing more and more that our apartment complex is a little lacking in the whole decent-looking scenery department. So until we move out (which is in the fall), you'll just have to enjoy this nice tree. Oh, and the green construction tarps. And the 15-foot-tall metal fences that make us feel like we live in a jail. Fun!

While we weren't huge fans of the movie itself, we fell in love with Bella Heathcote's character(s).

When we first saw her, we were all "well, we hate her"
