Because no Awkward Girls post is complete without a creepy cat pic.
We stopped at a banana stand, and the Arrested Development jokes ensued. There's always money in the banana stand.
Us being the cast of a 90's teen show.
The Real World: Newport
"I can't see anything. It's just all black"
Scuttle?
So obviously we had to take some pics with it.
The gang.
Really, we couldn't get enough of that bird.
Always leaving our mark.
A few weeks ago, we roadtripped down to Newport Beach, CA for our bestie's wedding. Pre-Wedding activities included frolicking on the beach, lunch at TK's burgers, and reenacting scenes from The OC just like any normal tourist would do (Seth Cohen is our soulmate). And there's even more to come! Stay tuned for part two of our California adventure!
(If that cliffhanger doesn't put you on the edge of your seat, I don't know what does)
ps. We did a little guest post for Charity of C'est La Belle Vie while she's off saving the world. Check it out here!
So it turns out that a lot has changed recently. Our best fran Chelsea got hitched, we got a new roomie, and some of us are graduating this semester. The world is our oyster! Here are a few pics to celebrate the beautiful changes in life, courtesy of instagram.
Our little Chich! She was obvi trying to hold Mad's hand.

Chich was such a beautiful bride. More wedding pics to come!
Don't be shy! Become friends with us on instagram!
This is probably the first (and mostly likely the only) time we've shared healthy food here.
But have you seen the commercials for this cereal? Models are like, "it's healthy AND delicious!"
And you're all, "yeah right, paid model. That kind of combination is against the laws of nautre."
But you know what? It actually is tasty. And you will poop after it. So, win/win!
We Want: Baseball Cap
While we never hopped on the trucker/Ashton Kutcher/youshouldn'tbewearingthat trend, we are totally into the classy baseball cap. And it almost looks like we're into sports. Almost.
Tunes: Alex Winston "Sister Wife"
Warning: You will find yourself singing about polygamists for the rest of your life.
Funnies: How To Kill A Mustache
Because let's be honest ladies, we want to kill most of them.
For this go 'round of Out + About, we are sharing one of our personal faves: the blazer.
But this time, it's 10 x's better and more appropriate for this season because there are millions of flowers all over it. It's great because the blazer says, "I get down to business", while the print says, "Let's frolic in fields and become best friends".
While the blazer is already pretty formal to start off with, think a little out of the box by pairing it with an unexpected print! We consider stripes to be one of those 'neutral' prints that will go with just about everything. For everyday wear, dress down your blazer by playing with a more causal print (we are all about pattern mixing right now, if you couldn't tell). Grunge tea party anyone?

This week we were lucky enough to be published in the March/April issue of Utah Valley Magazine! We talked a little about our favorite fashion terms for spring and how to wear them. Check it out!
Recently, we've been loving the sparse, but much needed days of sun around these parts. It's almost like it's springtime (Despite the occasional snow dump, of course)! So naturally, these sweet wooden shades from Hatchet Eyewear came just in time.
Hatchet specializes in the very best of wood sunglasses. Each pair is made entirely of durable, sustainable wood, and polarized lenses are standard. Plus, shipping is completely free too!
And did we mention how cool and rugged we feel in these slick shades? It's like wearing a log cabin on your face. Or an entire forest. You get the idea.
