While we're not typically 'hat people' (unless it's a bro-beanie), we would totally switch teams and become those people with a panama hat.

Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day! Today, we woke up early for some thrifting-- 50% off at Savers makes this a Memorial Day tradition. We've been up since 7 am. It's like Christmas for us. The rest of the day will be spent napping, lounging by a pool (we don't know which pool yet, but we'll find one), and hopefully crashing a barbecue or two.

Amidst all the day-off activities, we hope everyone remembers the real reason for the holiday. We have so much gratitude for all those who have willingly served and sacrificed everything for this country and for our freedom.

Ezra is the oh-so-fine frontman of the band, Vampire Weekend, who we saw in concert last night. And at some point in the night, WE SWEAR, he looked over at us and pointed and winked. Or at least we can pretend that happened. We can also pretend we didn't dance like we were on drugs, but that's something you just can't take back.

Gap Summer Style Event

Yesterday, we hung out Summer Style event at Gap! We got to hang out with some blogger buds, make new friends, munch on some refreshments (always our favorite part), and check out the latest and greatest from the Gap summer collection.

So... this happened. And maybe we missed the group picture because we were trying on clothes. Don't worry, we may or may not have photobombed at least one of them.

It was love at first awkward 3-way face touch.

Out + About: Floral Maxi // ASOS Giveaway Winner!

When wearing a maxi skirt, there's a two fine lines you have to be careful not to cross...

The first is looking like a frumpy mess, and the other is not to look like a dirty hippie. 

 (Even though maxi skirts are great for when you don't shave your legs-- Which, for us, is more likely than not. Can we get an AMEN!?)

When going out for a night on the town, pair the sweet floral skirt with some spice. A leather jacket and a studded collared blouse gives the whole look an edge. And don't forget to add some fun, colorful pieces like coral booties and a metallic satchel!

When your just chillin' (and still haven't shaved your legs) dress down that skirt with a basic tee and some neutral sandals. And ginormous bags are not only a practical way to hold all your things, but to also channel your inner MK+A.

Local Loves: Tessel Supply

We've realized over the past 4 or so years that Provo is kind of a cool place to live. It's a hub of creativity, innovation, and fresh ideas and it seems like everyone here is ridiculously talented (Our talent is going 3 days at a time without showering BTW). Because of this, we wanted to start a new series where we would bring you the freshest of the fresh straight out of P to the R to the O-V-O .

That sounded a lot cooler in our heads

Anyways. Today we wanted to introduce you to Tessel Supply.

Tessel was started by two BYU students with big dreams, and even bigger hearts. Ok, we don't really know anything about the size of their hearts, but we know that they make some pretty cool backpacks. Check out the video to see their story. They have also launched a Kickstarter Campaign recently to help get their bags into production. They reached their goal a few days in to the campaign, but every pledge still counts!

Tessel sent us a prototype of the Jet Pack, and let us just say... dis thing pretty cool. 

It's perfect for the ex-cheerleader-on-the-go....

And the best part is the spacious design allows room for dos...
