Insta-life: Weekend

Hello lovelies!
We have had quite the weekend. Yummy pizza, The Vow, thrifting, and all things kitty.
(we sincerely apologize for all the cat pictures you are about to see).

Enjoy the Insta's!
What better way to spend the time waiting for a movie to start than catpaint?
cocoa bean cupcakes. anytime. all the time.
We don't know who Ray Sawyer is. But we have a feeling we'd like his music.
No one likes a man in an eyepatch more than we do
Some people have a phobia of heights.
Others have a phobia of the dark.
Lauren has a phobia of porcelain dolls.
(they're demons. every last one of them)
it's not every day you get to see a BYU football player sing "Hit Me Baby One More Time" on karaoke.
which is exactly what ward parties are for.
maddie's new sick tat. come at me bro.
dessert pizza. don't let the fruit fool you. this was not healthy. but sooo good.
apparently they play creepy cat commercials in movie theaters now
seriously. sorry about the cats.

Babies and Guest Posts

First things first, we totally forgot to post an entry from the Jean Shirt Challenge.
Lauren's little niece Avery is a fashionista in the making and wanted to join in on all the jean shirt fun! Check her out in her classic chambray looks!

So cute, we die.

Also, want some Valentine's Day outfit advice? We guest posted over at Life's Golden Moments today showing off what we'll be wearing on the day of luuuuurrrrrve.
Here's an ever so tiny sneak peek.

Jean Shirt Challenge Winners

Just kidding.. Everyone's a winner here!
We wanted to thank everyone who participated in the Jean Shirt Challenge! We got so much inspiration, we'll probably just have to wear our jean shirts every day.
(Which really means one more day per week than we usually do)
Check out all the goods:
We love pairing the jean shirt with black. Such a classic, sleek mix of colors. Like how B and Katie styled it.

Also, for some reason we couldn't grab the pics, but check out the Style File's effortlessly cute look with the jean shirt styled with black leggings and flats!

Somehow jean shirts and stripes were just made for each other. Sherri, Sharon, and Gaby's looks are proof of that.
(sidenote: This was Gaby's very first outfit post. We've never felt so honored.)

We wish we could see more of Chelsea's outfit here, but she sure looks good in that jean shirt!
And she has mermaid hair.

And then who doesn't love a good pop of color with their chambray?
Monica and Amanda show us how to pull it off. Even if that pop color is another blue!

Charity (who's blog is quickly becoming one of our faves) disproves the theory that leopard print can't be classy. We love it paired with the denim shirt and tribal necklace.

As much as we love the classic long sleeve denim shirt, check out these short sleeved alternatives worn by S (Pretty Life Anonymus) and Isla.

Suz and Viv are twins who are new to the blogging scene. They are gorgeous, they totally rock the Zoey D. bangs, and have some seriously awesome style. Which is cool if you're into the whole "Hey look at us, we're cute twins!" sort of thing. (Which you know we are. MK+A much?)

Thanks again for linking up with us ladies! Be on the lookout for another challenge coming up soon!

It's Monday and Stuff

top: thrifted, sweater: nordstrom, pants: levi's, watch: relic, shoes: dsw

collared shirt: uo, sweater: nordstrom, skirt: anthro, shoes: journey's, watch: seiko, glasses: f21
There's never really anything that happy or exciting to talk about on Mondays.
Except that this is what we wore. And we're loving the fact that the snow has stayed away long enough to let us go a few days without big jackets.
And the days are getting longer.
And we're still smiling.

Also, it's the last day to enter the Jean Shirt Challenge so get on dat.

Answering Your Questions: Part II

      Well it's finally here.
The riveting finale to our Q&A series. Exciting, right?

But before we get to that, a few things:
- Don't forget to link up to our Jean Shirt Challenge! We've already gotten some super stylish entries so far, so send in yours by the end of the day on Monday.

- Lauren's brother-in-law just launched a sweet new blog, Indie Punch where you can learn about all things entertainment with an indie twist, if you're into that sort of thing. We know we are.

- If you really want to, you guys can send in more questions and maybe we'll do this again! Or no? Or yes? We'll see.

And now without further adieu..

And in case anyone was wondering, the songs we used in both videos are:
Rawnald Gregory Erickson the Second- Starf***er
East Harlem- Beirut
Bruises- Chairlift
5 Years Time- Noah and the Whale
Dull to Pause- Junior Boys

Have a happy Saturday!
