The Return of We Likey Wednesday

So remember that time when we were bloggers and we were always posting and stuff? Well life lately has been a little totes cray, as the kids would say. With weddings, school, life, and having a "real job" we almost forgot we even had a blog. The thing is though, blogging is so fun. We love getting on here and talking about the things we love, and reading your comments, and feeling warm fuzzies inside. So even though we've been horribly inconsistent as of late, THANK YOU to those of you who still read along! It means the world to us!

Girl Crush: Lorde

Lorde may give you another case of "What was I Accomplishing When I was a Teenager?" syndrome (we're looking at you Kiernan Shipka), but let's be real. Girlfriend's got some mad pipes, ridiculously catchy songs, and a wild mane of beautiful hair. 

Boy Crush: Aaron Paul

We know everyone's been freaking out about the ending of Breaking Bad, but we actually just started watching it. And when we're not all, "oh my gosh did they just-" and "holy crap, did that just-" and "can they show that on tv?" we're thinking, maybe Jessie Pinkman has some potential.  Then we saw this and it really sealed the deal: 

Flava of the Week: Hector's Mexican Food

If you just want to get down to the nitty gritty and eat the best Mexican food in Utah, Hector's is the place to go. You can't go wrong with the carne asada burrito there. You just can't. 

We Want: Dark Red Lipstick

Lately we've been seeing the dark, burgundy lipstick trend everywhere from the runway to the red carpet to our inner-90's girl fashion fantasies. We've been referring back to this guide to nail the look like a pro.

Dangit Best Coast, you did it again. We know we post about Best Coast a lot, but we will continue to do so until Bethany Cosentino stops making music that speaks to our souls and make us wonder if she'd be willing to be our best friend.

Girl Crush: Elena Tonra

Elena is the lead singer of one of our favorite bands, Daughter.
Last night we got to see their show, and it was amazing!
She has such a big voice, but shy, giggly personality.

Girl Crush: Saoirse Ronan

While we were fangirling so hard at the Host premiere a few weekends ago (no, we're not ashamed), we realized a few things: 

1) What kind of name is Saoirse? Did we even spell that right? Is that even English? 

2) Either way we're obsessed with her. 

3) If aliens took over the world and made everyone dress as well as they did, we'd be ok with it.

(which we are actually really intrigued to see).

One day we were really craving Mexican food (which is kinda a rare occurrence for us), and we went to Diego's and fell in love. Something about their rice was just so good. Get you some!

(we're not being mean, she prefers being called that)

We didn't realize he existed until Les Mis, and then he definitely existed (if you know what we mean).

We are really digging these bold hair clips and side swept hair.

It's like the more modern/ overall better take on the emo bangs we had in jr. high.

So, it turns out that your don't need to be 'sporty hiker girl' to wear puffy jackets now. 

Which is pretty lucky for us, considering we like this whole cute vest covering our winter food-babies thing.
