Hatchet Eyewear Wood Sunglasses

Wearing: The Understudy in Duwood

Recently, we've been loving the sparse, but much needed days of sun around these parts. It's almost like it's springtime (Despite the occasional snow dump, of course)! So naturally, these sweet wooden shades from Hatchet Eyewear came just in time.
Hatchet specializes in the very best of wood sunglasses. Each pair is made entirely of durable, sustainable wood, and polarized lenses are standard. Plus, shipping is completely free too!
And did we mention how cool and rugged we feel in these slick shades? It's like wearing a log cabin on your face. Or an entire forest. You get the idea.
Now, enjoy the most indulgent double-selfie session of all time:

#selfie #hot #hotties #dateus
Thanks Hatchet Eyewear!

Oh, and if you're loving these as much as we are, be sure to come back in a couple days for a chance to win a pair of your very own!

Recover Cases Product Review

lauren's case: rosewood case for the 4s in black
madison's case: walnut case for the 4s in black

We have a saying in this friendship:

Friends that match, last a batch...load of years.
(Most of it rhymes, so we think it's pretty catchy.)

And, thanks to Recover iphone cases, we are so excited to have cute, matching iphone cases!
We love the minimalistic style and wooden veneers that are unique to each cell phone case.
Recover also makes covers and skins for your iphone 5, 4, 4s, ipad 2/ new ipads, and macbook.

Another cool thing about Recover cases: They are super durable! Their products are made with 3M adhesive and Grade-A veneers, so their products are meant to outlast your Apple product.
You know they are going to last you a long time! Like, a lot longer than the 3 times Madison's dropped her phone in the snow already...whoops.

A big thank you to Recover for these cute cases!

Outfits & GlassesUSA Product Review

top: ella moss via anthro, skirt: madewell, shoes: thrifted, necklace: c/o cents of style

top: f21, pants: macy's, necklace: anthro, glasses: c/o glassesusa
Madison here! Today, would like to share with you all a little secret... I’m blind.
Okay, not really. But I might as well be.

People ask me, “Are you farsighted or nearsighted?” and I reply “Both.” Friends try on my glasses and are left cross-eyed. Needless to say, prescription glasses are a must for me. Especially for those mornings when I wake up 15 minutes before class starts. A cute pair of eyeglasses always hide my terrifyingly bloodshot and tired eyes that I have at 8 am.
We’ve all been there, right?

Sometimes finding specs can be tough, because I have a ginormous head and thick eyebrows. Luckily, I had the opportunity to find a pair of glasses at GlassesUSA.com. And I found the perfect pair!

One thing that helped me find these beauts is the virtual mirror that helps me “try” on their glasses. This was handy, because I was able to see which frames would dominate my face or look like tiny baby glasses on my large noggin. All you do is choose your gender, either upload or take a picture, and go crazy trying on their different frames! I tried on all the nerd, cat-eye, and wayfarer glasses that I wanted! Like a personal dressing room for my face.

Sadly, they don’t sell my glasses anymore, but here are some pretty close look-a-likes! These glasses are well made, classy, sassy, and with a hint of vintage--which I love. They don’t look/ feel small on my head and I think the half frames accent my brows quite nicely!
Win-win for me!

Here are some other tid-bits I really enjoyed about ordering from GlassesUSA:
  • 110% lowest price guarantee and a 100% satisfaction guarantee
  • A generous refer-a-friend program (You can get $30 for each first purchase a referred friend makes – and use the $30 towards your next pair of glasses)
  • A Facebook page and Twitter feed with exclusive discounts for fans
  • Great return policy
  • Tons of Sales and Coupons
  • The glasses came in a timely manner and came in a sturdy, hard case.

Are you the market to buy glasses? If so, I highly recommend checking out their site! They always have deals going on, but you can also take 10% off your order by using the code: Blog10.

There you have it my dears! Go out, see the world, and look fabulous doing it!

Hey guys! Happy Monday!
We're okay that it's Monday today because
a) it's sunny AND warm outside
b) the BYU blogger meetup is on Thursday
and
c) we have an awesome product review and giveaway (our very 1st!) for you today!

One of our sweet sponsors, Jillian, who blogs over at Boyish Chic owns a cute little online store called My Remedy where she sells handmade jewelry, as well as cool eco-friendly clothes and stationary.

Well Jillian was super generous in sending over a couple pairs of earrings for us to try out! Unfortunately (or luckily, depending on who you're talking to), Madison was out of town this weekend, so Lauren had these little beauties all to herself. So like a bored housewife, she spent an afternoon trying them on and taking pictures of herself.
Sunny Earrings
We love the fact that these earrings are mismatched. It's a fun twist on classic studs. Plus, this season is all about wearing lots and lots of colors!
Wear the Roses Remix
So here's the dealio. Jillian has offered to giveaway a pair of the Wear the Roses Remix earrings (seen above) to one lucky reader!
AND in addition to the earrings the winner will also recieve a $5 store credit to My Remedy!
