Shortly after these pictures were taken, we started walking to class.
As we were trudging along, Madison says, "Let's just ditch class and go get lunch"
All of the sudden strange feelings of empowerment came over us and we found ourselves in the middle of a very strange stick-it-to-the-man moment.
We literally started running back to our apartment screaming things like, "Screw class!" and "Take that, World!" and "I feel so alive!".
So we went to Pizza Pie Cafe and stuffed our faces with lots and lots (and lots) of pizza.
And we're not even apologizing for it.

Haha fun! I'm still so freaked out to miss a class cause in my mind I feel like I would be so behind and would end up failing a class.... which isn't true. One day I'll run from class just to say I did...one day. :)

ReplyDeleteha, you ladies are hilarious! i wish i had enough guts to ditch class. i remember having panic attacks just having to miss class if i was on death row that i would practically drag myself in a wheelchair if i had to to make it to class. nerd alert over here, ha

Haha! That is so hilarious! It really is liberating when you don't do something you know you're supposed to. I used to think it was the world's worst crime to miss class, but the longer I'm in college, the more I appreciate taking a day off every once in a while! And pizza? That just makes it twice as good.
