Today was a really eventful day. And when we say, "really eventful" we mean not that eventful.
We spent the better part of the day in Salt Lake, Christmas shopping and trying not to shop for ourselves.
(We did good.)
Later in the evening we babysat these two little ones while Lauren's sister went out on a date night with the husband. Here's some scenes of the night:
When the children fell asleep we indulged in some cookie dough and Uptown Girls.
I guess that's how we "live it up" on a Saturday night these days.
Let alone, the last Saturday night of the semester.
But look at those two.
Can you blame us?
Plus, they're moving back to California in a few weeks so any ideas to sabotage that would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and then we came home to this:
special shoutout to THIS girl. These cookies are freakin amazing. |
