We Likey Wednesday

Girl Crush: Schuyler Fisk
You might recognize her from Orange County. And if you were raised in the 90's, you'll probably recognize her from The Babysitters Club. But she really stole our hearts when she started singing with Joshua Radin. Listen here! You'll see.

Boy Crush(es): Bret and Jemaine of Flight of the Conchords
Look at those two. How could you not love those creepishly adorable faces?
If you haven't heard of Flight of the Conchords, please repent and go watch this video. Or this one.
(there's more where that came from)
And it doesn't hurt that they have New Zealand accents.

Flava of the Week: Birthday Cake Oreos
via
It's Oreo's 100th anniversary, and to celebrate they decided to become 100 times more awesome and make these Birthday Cake Oreos, which are just regular Oreos with cake flavored frosting. Let's just say we ate a whole box within an hour of buying it...

We want: Floral Jeans

Last year, colored jeans were the big thing. This year, we're taking this relationship to the next level with floral jeans.
They add just the right amount of sass and femininity.

Tunes: Penguin Cafe Orchestra, "Music for a Found Harmonium"
If you're ever in the mood for some easy listening instrumental music, always go to Penguin Cafe Orchestra.
Also, 10 points to Gryffindor if you can tell us where you recognize this from.

Funnies: SomeEcards
We wish we didn't have to admit that we've spent hours on Pinterest reading these things.
But they're so funny and so applicable to our lives.

We wish we didn't have to admit that either.

  1. Just when I move to Switzerland, Oreos have had some new products...not that I used to live on them, but I would sure like to try them.

I love Schuyler Fisk! Since babysitters club and Snow day and then again when she was on the Penelope soundtrack. I have blogged about her several times over the years, I think she is a great actress too. So happy she is linked to Joshua Radin too.

Floral pants seem like a wardrobe dream!

  11. Yay! I kind of wanted to try some floral jeans but I was a little scared. Now that I know you girls want to embrace them too, I think I can muster the confidence. And I waste so much time reading those ecards! Hilarious.

and 2. Brett just won an Oscar! I almost passed out when I was watching on Sunday. He so deserves it, although I wish it had been for Flight of Conchords

  15. Hi! New follower of your blog.

True Story, I was super excited I spotted some white jeans with pastel floral prints at the thrift store today from across the room. I was so excited, thought I had found the most original, funky fresh find...only to get up close and realize it was not a floral patten after all but fruit. Citrus fruits, respectively. How do you guys feel about food patterned pants? :)

And, side note...someecards is my number one site to browse while at the day job! Ahhhh! Hilarious and entertainment for hours!
