Have you guys ever felt like you're in a style rut? Like you go through periods of time when you never really know what to wear anymore?
That's how we've been feeling lately. We like to blame finals for frying our brains.
When that happens, we always go back to our button downs. ALWAYS.
Maybe we even wear two at a time for added effect.
What's your style go to? We need some style rut inspiration.
Also, these pictures were taken by our sweet photographer friend, Lizzy. She even captured some nice pics of us, since we're always in short supply of pictures of us together. Whenever we take pics together, they end up looking like engagement pictures. But what can you do?

So effortlessly cute! I'm not really sure what my go-to style is when I'm in a rut. Probably a colorful maxi dress with a belt!

ReplyDeleteThis season I really got into button-downs for the first time and they're my new style go to as well. They just go with EVERYTHING! :)
I am so in a style rut at the moment... but my big go to has to be all my dresses. I have like twenty of them, so I pair them with different accessories/shoes.

Same here!!! Whenever I can't think of anything to wear, I usually wear button downs. I think have twice as many button downs as my normal shirts! Sometimes I think I dress like an old lady . . .:)

ReplyDeleteWhen I'm in a style rut I always resort back to color palettes.. like things I KNOW look good together...i.e yellow/grey, orange/blue, red/yellow (mustard ketchupy... but in a great way), etc. Works every time! Complimentary colors are appealing to the eye ;)
