Homebody

top: f21 (similar)
sweater: target
skirt: jcrew factory (loving this one!)
shoes: clarks
purse: red envelope c/o

In a devastating case of #firstworldproblems, my car has been dead for the past week, which has left me with the unbearable task of entertaining myself within the confines of my own house. So far, my activities have included, but are not limited to:

  • feeling sorry for myself
  • eating spoonfuls of peanut butter and chocolate chips because I can't bake anything
  • listening to emo bands from high school
  • starting craft projects that I will inevitably abandon
  • thinking about doing homework/exercise/cooking, then ultimately resorting back to feeling sorry for myself

But! This week wasn't all that bad because I received this snakeskin cross-body purse from RedEnvelope, which is a perfectly curated boutique full of gifts for that special person in your life. Even if that person is yourself (I won't judge you). The best part is, your item comes all wrapped up in a cute little red box complete with bow and tissue paper, which is especially awesome when you're going through that gift drought between Christmas and your birthday and you really just want to unwrap something. So thank you, RedEnvelope for being my silver lining this week. And thank you, life for still being alright even when my car doesn't work.

In other news, does anyone know how to fix cars?

  4. That sweater is so adorable! Sometime it is nice to be a homebody, but you like to be able to plan that and have the option of leaving if you want to. Hope that your sweater gets straighten out soon.
