We're starting to realize more and more how simple our outfits always are. We don't know if you guys realize it, but we hardly accessorize. A watch, a bracelet, and a statement necklace here and there, but that's it. Sometimes it makes us feel like horrible fashion bloggers. Who's going to find inspiration from pictures of really basic outfits? But then we heard this quote:
"When accessorizing, always take off the last thing you put on" - Coco Chanel
We kind of like her minimalist approach to fashion. Let the clothes speak for themselves.
Sometimes, less really is more.
But hey, that's just us. What do you guys think?

ReplyDeleteI love both of these outfits! Simple is more my style (and realistic for my lifestyle) and I much prefer it to the over-the-top accessorizing that a lot of fashion bloggers do. I think the most important thing is just being true to YOUR honest style when fashion blogging because we want to see what you really wear, not what you think fashion bloggers should wear. I love following your guys' blog because it gives me REAL ideas for cute outfits! Oh and when I saw you guys wearing those statement necklaces from H&M (the ones with all the gold & pink beads and gold & turquoise beads), I went out and bought them right away!

I'm with you there! I love simple looks and usually don't wear much of any accessories myself. It's something that I kind of want to work on, but kind of don't really care much either way. :)

I'm very much a minimalistic kinda gal when it comes to accessories. Now and then I will wear some jewelry, but sometimes to be honest jewelry can really bug me :)

I like seeing simple outfits too. It's perfect inspiration for our hot summers where I hardly want to wear anything! It's hard to want to accessorize too much when it's so warm out. You both look really cute!
